Have you ever delivered important nutrition information to a client or patient, but felt you weren’t getting through?

We are all consumers of nutrition information, and as consumers, we appreciate it when information is personalized to fit our needs.  As health professionals, it is our job to communicate accurate nutrition information to all types of consumers.  The key is delivering practical messages that consumers can relate to and use in their lives.

To help facilitate this, IFIC Foundation has developed an ADA-approved online CPE program, “A New Nutrition Conversation with Consumers,” which is available to Registered Dietitians and other health professionals.

This course will give you a first-hand look at what consumers are thinking and feeling about nutrition while providing various tools and tips to communicate better with your audience.  After successful completion of the CPE certified questions, you will receive one CPE credit hour toward maintaining your dietetic registration and a certificate of achievement.
